Back in Blogging with my Dubai Experience

Friends, I have just come back to blogging after a long interval. This time I have come up with my experiences and thoughts that ran in my mind when I travelled to Dubai for a Visa Change from Kuwait where I am currently located for a project.

It was nice traveling back to Dubai after more than 2 years. The city keeps changing day-by-day though the traffic, jamming and pace has not changed ever since my last visit.

Dubai is now constructing Metro Rails which will be under ground. If it goes at this speed in infrastructural developments, I bet it will beat Singapore shortly.

I was staying at company’s guest house which is next to Ramadha Hotel, Burdubai. The apartment was a three bedroom one and was really good. On the 17th of October evening I called Anand and wished him. He was little bit held up with one of his friend (Sekhar, sunder you know him. Right?) Who was hospitalized due to bleeding of blood from his brain cells. The person is alright now as he underwent a major surgery.

Okay..I can hear you…Anand is my eldest brother friend. He is not only his friend but also mine. To put it very short he has been a wonderful family friend all these years. He is now GM Marketing in a prestigious company in Dubai.

We fixed up our meeting for the evening to have some drinks and dine together. Anand was as usual and there is absolutely no change. He is still in his own elements. Recently he had bought one TT Table and told me that shortly he will go for one Snooker table too.

While I was walking down to Karama from Bur Dubai, I had all my memories of year 2004 got recollected. The same street where I was roaming around hunting for a better paying  job under the hot sun. Now its all the same road, same Vijayasarathy but the profile has changed. I was really proud of myself that I could keep my word to myself and Anand that I would return to this part of world with a  far better Job.

The experience was too much that I could not express and I am at loss of words as my vocabulary is so weak.

Also came Venkatesh (thambu) who works for AlFuttaim Technologies. We shared our thoughts over ERP products. He is dealing with Microsoft’s Great Minds.

I had to withdraw money from ATM for my expenses at Dubai and when I did that I could not stop tears. When I took the money, that time I realized 100% how difficult it would have been for Murthy and Sunder when they took care of me at Muscat and Dubai whenever I needed money or support.

They were there every moment of my stay at Muscat and Dubai. To put it very honestly, for a second I thought whether I sucked part of the blood from Sunder and that’s why his hemoglobin level came down. But I could console myself that I played a very small role in regaining of his blood and energy level later. Needless to mention Murthy’s contribution because he was extending his support even referring my name to everybody through all possible way. I would say more than me, they had put lot of efforts in my job search.

All these thoughts came when I was walking down in the streets of Dubai.

Will come back with more blogging…………….
